Checks for and resolves any anomalies in a data base.
The Maintenance/Integrity Check command is selected from the Utilities task.
This command will only appear on the menu if there are no data bases currently open.

Item | Used to |
Look in | Select the folder in which the data base is located. |
File name | Key in the name of the existing data base to be checked or to display a data base name selected from the list of displayed files. |
Files of type | Only current version .SEE files can be selected for integrity checking. |
Compress String & Polygon No's | Check this option to compress any gaps in string and polygon numbers. Please Note: These objects will only be renumbered if any deleted objects have been removed from the job using Clean Database previously. |
Check | Displays the Data Base Integrity Verification
dialog box, carries out the integrity check, resolves any anomalies and reports the findings. The Open button is only active after a data base has been selected. When an integrity check is carried out on a data base, a copy of the original file is created with a .bak extension. If a backup file with the same name already exists you will be asked if it is OK to overwrite. |
Close | Close the dialog box without checking its integrity. |
